On the second Somwari (Monday) of the Sawan month, an immense wave of devotion and faith swept through Parsa block and Nagar Panchayat area in Saran district. From early Monday morning, long queues of devotees formed at various Shiva temples for Jalabhishek (offering water to Lord Shiva). Grand Kalash Yatras (processions with sacred pots) emerged from temple premises, with enthusiastic participation from women, men, and youth, filling the air with chants of 'Har Har Mahadev' and 'Bol Bam'.

Thousands of devotees flocked to the 101-foot-tall Shiva temple in Parsa Bazar. From morning till late night, the temple premises remained bustling with worshippers who performed rituals and offered prayers to Lord Bholenath, seeking prosperity, good health, peace, and happiness for their families and the region.

Anticipating a large turnout, the administration made elaborate security arrangements. Under the directives of Saran SSP Vineet Kumar, Station House Officer Omprakash led the deployment of police forces at major Shiva temples. Police personnel continuously patrolled the temple premises and surrounding areas to manage crowds and traffic effectively. Regular patrolling by motorcycles and police vehicles played a crucial role in maintaining law and order, ensuring no inconvenience to the devotees. The entire Parsa region remained immersed in an atmosphere of faith and devotion throughout the day, with thousands of devotees performing Jalabhishek to Baba Bholenath.
