Seven individuals sustained injuries when an auto-rickshaw overturned in the Bachhwara police station area of Begusarai district. The incident occurred when the auto, reportedly carrying more passengers than its capacity, lost control and flipped over. Two of the injured are in critical condition and have been referred to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for advanced treatment. The remaining five injured individuals are receiving care at a local health center.

Eyewitnesses reported that the auto was traveling at a high speed when it suddenly veered off course. The accident caused a scene of chaos, and local residents quickly came to the aid of the victims, transporting them to the nearest health facility.

Upon receiving information about the accident, Bachhwara police arrived at the scene. They have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident, with preliminary findings suggesting that overloading and excessive speed were contributing factors. The damaged auto-rickshaw has been impounded by the police. This incident highlights the critical need for stricter enforcement of road safety regulations and public awareness campaigns, particularly in rural areas where vehicle overloading is a common issue, to prevent future occurrences of such accidents.
