A heated altercation broke out between two groups in Hariharpur village, under the Shahpur police station area in Bhojpur district, reportedly over the payment for fish. The incident led to a brief period of tension in the village.

Local residents promptly informed the police by calling Dial 112. A police team, including Shahpur Station House Officer (SHO) Santosh Kumar Singh, immediately arrived at the scene. They successfully intervened and pacified both parties, bringing the situation under control. SHO Santosh Kumar Singh stated that while the police responded to the report of a clash, no formal written complaint has been filed by either side at the police station yet. He assured that if a complaint is received, the matter would be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate action would be taken in accordance with the law.
