In Shambhuganj block of Banka district, the newly established Primary School Jungle is facing significant challenges due to the absence of an approach road. This issue is severely disrupting the education of 87 enrolled students. Built approximately five years ago at a cost of millions, the school currently has three teachers. Residents and teachers report that for the past three months, heavy waterlogging on the path during the rainy season has made it extremely difficult for children to reach the school.

Villagers explained that the path remains submerged in water for about three months during the monsoon, preventing children from attending classes. This problem has persisted since the school's construction, and demands for an approach road have been continuous. Residents like Kishun Das, Ashish Kumar, Guddu Kumar, and Upendra Das stated on Wednesday morning at 10 AM that they have repeatedly complained to panchayat and other public representatives, but no solution has been found.

Headmaster Devendra Prasad has also frequently requested departmental officials and panchayat representatives to construct the approach road. He highlighted that most students enrolled in the school belong to Mahadalit families, and the lack of a proper path directly impedes their education.

Mukhiya Anjila Devi acknowledged the severity of the problem and mentioned that there is a 'danr' (small pond/water body) near the school, along whose embankment an approach road could be built. She assured that efforts are being made in this direction. Villagers have urged the administration to construct this crucial road as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted education for the children.
