On Sunday, a public outreach program (Janata Darbar) was held in Sheikhpura district, where the District Magistrate (DM) personally listened to the grievances of the local populace. A significant number of cases related to land disputes, incorrect land records (Jamabandi), and obstruction of public pathways were brought to the DM's attention. The District Magistrate took all these matters seriously and directed the concerned officials to ensure prompt and lawful resolution.

Complainants presented their issues before the DM. Many reported illegal encroachment on their land, while others highlighted problems arising from erroneous land records. Additionally, complaints regarding encroachment on public roads and hindrance to movement were also prominent. The DM attentively heard all applications and issued necessary instructions to several officials on the spot. He emphasized that land disputes should be resolved on a priority basis to prevent unnecessary hardship for the general public.

The DM instructed officials to investigate complaints and take immediate action, ensuring that no rightful individual is deprived of their land. He also stressed the importance of clearing encroachments from public roads and ensuring smooth traffic flow. He mandated that all cases must be resolved within a stipulated timeframe, with progress reports submitted accordingly. This initiative has instilled hope among the district's residents that their problems will now be addressed more swiftly.
