The District Magistrate (DM) of Sheikhpura recently conducted a comprehensive review of various ongoing development projects within the district. During the meeting, the DM issued several crucial directives to the concerned officials, with the most significant being the instruction to dispose of all pending applications within a two-week timeframe. The DM emphasized that no public-related application should be unnecessarily delayed and that their resolution must be ensured within the stipulated period.

During the review session, the DM assessed the progress of work being carried out by different departments. Detailed discussions were held, particularly concerning the status of the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali scheme, MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Nal-Jal Yojana, and other welfare schemes. The DM directed officials to accelerate the implementation of these schemes and ensure that their benefits reach the genuine beneficiaries. He stressed the importance of quality work and stated that no negligence would be tolerated.

The DM strictly instructed officials to regularly inspect their respective areas and monitor ongoing work at the grassroots level. He emphasized that public complaints and suggestions should be taken seriously, and prompt action should be taken to resolve them. The DM also directed that all officials should attend future review meetings with updated progress reports of their work. He reiterated that the government's priority is to expedite development work and provide better services to the general public, and all officials must work with full dedication and commitment in this direction.
