The foundation stone for the much-awaited Kendriya Vidyalaya in Katnikol, Sheikhpura district, has been laid in a grand ceremony. Local MLAs and several ward councilors, along with a large number of dignitaries, were present at the event. This new Kendriya Vidyalaya will be constructed at Katnikol at an estimated cost of 14.99 lakh rupees, enhancing the availability of quality education in the region.

The establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya has been a long-standing demand, and its groundbreaking has brought immense joy to the local populace. This project will provide students from Sheikhpura and surrounding areas with access to high-quality education under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum. It is expected that the school will be equipped with modern facilities, including smart classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and playgrounds.

During the ceremony, leaders emphasized the importance of education and stated that this school would play a crucial role in transforming the educational landscape of the area.
