Shivhar, July 1, 2026: The District Magistrate (DM) of Shivhar conducted a surprise inspection of the newly constructed degree colleges in Piprahi and Puranhia on Wednesday. During the visit, the DM assessed the available facilities within the college premises and instructed officials to complete all necessary amenities as soon as possible. The DM emphasized that providing a better academic environment for students is a priority, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.

During the inspection, the DM meticulously examined classrooms, laboratories, libraries, toilet facilities, and drinking water systems. He noted that work was still incomplete in some areas, expressing dissatisfaction and issuing strict directives to the concerned officials to complete the tasks within the stipulated timeframe. He stressed that there would be no compromise on quality, and all construction work must adhere to high standards.

The DM also inquired about student enrollment, the number of available teachers, and other staff members from the college management. He stated that colleges must have an adequate number of teachers and staff to ensure smooth academic operations. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of sports facilities and cultural activities for students to ensure their holistic development.

The primary objective of this visit was to ensure that the newly built degree colleges are fully prepared for students and that they do not face any obstacles in pursuing higher education. The DM instructed officials to regularly monitor the progress of these colleges and resolve any issues promptly. He also suggested taking feedback from local public representatives and educationists to further improve the colleges.
