PATNA: Simultala Residential School in Jamui, famously known as the 'Toppers Factory', has once again brought pride to Bihar on a national level. In the prestigious Cfore School Ranking 2026, Simultala secured the second position among the best government residential schools nationwide. Motilal Nehru School of Sports claimed the first spot in this category, while Oak Grove School came in third.

This achievement has once again placed Simultala at the forefront of national academic discussions. It is particularly significant for Bihar, as Simultala is a government residential school that has carved out a niche among prestigious institutions across the country based on its academic prowess.

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary hailed this accomplishment as a testament to Bihar's talent and academic excellence. He reiterated the government's commitment to elevating Bihar's education system to new heights and extended heartfelt congratulations to the school's students and teachers. Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari also expressed his delight, calling it a matter of pride for the entire state, highlighting how it brings national recognition to Bihar's talent, hard work, and dedication to education.

JDU National Executive President Sanjay Jha described the achievement as a moment of pride for all Biharis. He recalled that after the separation of Jharkhand, the Netarhat Vidyalaya was no longer part of Bihar. Under the leadership of Nitish Kumar in 2005, steps were taken to establish an excellent residential school in Bihar on the lines of Netarhat, leading to the inauguration of Simultala Residential School in Jamui on August 9, 2010.
