Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with emotion and reverence in Nokha on Friday. A poignant scene unfolded at the Martyr's Memorial in Nokha, where the elder sister Sumitra and younger sister Sushila of martyr Jagdish Prasad Bishnoi arrived to anoint and tie a rakhi on their brave brother's statue. As soon as they tied the rakhi, both sisters' eyes welled up, and they offered a heartfelt tribute, remembering their martyred brother. Witnessing this moving sight, the eyes of other people present there also filled with tears.

Due to the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan, the markets of Nokha remained bustling throughout the day. There was a huge crowd of women and young girls at rakhi shops, purchasing silver, gold, and various fancy rakhis. Additionally, a continuous flow of customers was observed at sweet, coconut, and puja material shops, reflecting the festive spirit.
