A daylight robbery has been reported at a Customer Service Point (CSP) in the Riga police station area of Sitamarhi district. According to available information, two armed miscreants on a motorcycle entered a CSP located in Riga Bazaar and looted approximately ₹1.50 lakh at gunpoint. The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday afternoon around 12:30 PM, while the CSP operator was present at his establishment. The robbers suddenly stormed in, brandishing pistols and creating panic among the staff. They then fled with the cash from the counter.

Upon receiving information about the robbery, the local police administration was alerted. Riga police immediately arrived at the scene and commenced an investigation. Police have questioned the CSP operator and the employees who were present. Efforts are underway to scan CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to identify the culprits and determine their escape routes. According to the police, the miscreants were wearing helmets, making their identification difficult. This incident, occurring in broad daylight in a busy area like Riga Bazaar, has created an atmosphere of fear among local residents.
