In a significant crackdown against illicit liquor, police in the Gopalpur police station area of Patna district have arrested an individual. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a location late on October 11 and apprehended a person with 30 liters of country-made liquor. Gopalpur Police Station In-charge Amit Kumar Singh confirmed the arrest on the morning of October 12.

The police had received intelligence regarding the sale and trade of illegal liquor. After verifying the information, the police team took swift action, leading to the arrest. The arrested individual is currently being interrogated to ascertain the source of the liquor and the entire supply network. Police suspect that several other people might be involved in this illegal business.

The Station In-charge stated that continuous action would be taken against those who violate the prohibition law. This operation is a crucial step towards effectively implementing the complete liquor ban in Bihar. The police are committed to apprehending all criminals associated with this network.
