Superintendent of Police (SP) Kumar Gautam of West Champaran recently conducted an inspection of Chanpatia and Kumarbagh police stations. This marked his first visit to these stations since assuming office. During his inspection, SP Gautam thoroughly reviewed various aspects related to registered cases, pending investigations, and crime control measures.

The SP paid particular attention to the cleanliness of the stations, the maintenance of the Malkhana (storehouse for seized property), and the facilities available for police personnel. He instructed that complainants visiting the stations should be treated with sensitivity and respect, and their grievances should be addressed promptly and effectively. SP Gautam also directed officials to expedite pending warrants and attachment-seizure cases to ensure that criminals are brought to justice without delay.

He advised all police officers and personnel to perform their duties diligently and maintain accountability towards the public, emphasizing that crime control and maintaining law and order are top priorities. SP Gautam also stressed the importance of ensuring adequate police force presence and the availability of necessary equipment and resources at the stations. The inspection aimed to improve police functioning and enhance the public image of the police force. SP Gautam stated that such inspections would continue regularly to further strengthen the policing system.
