The Samajwadi Party (SP) staged a vigorous protest in Jamalpur, Munger, against the alleged theft of donations collected for the construction of the Ram Mandir. On Tuesday, SP workers publicly burned effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and local MP Lalan Singh in Jamalpur. The protest was led by SP District President Ramnath Yadav and State Secretary cum In-charge Ashok Samrat.

Protesters accused the BJP government of widespread corruption, claiming that crores of rupees collected from across the country for the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya had been misappropriated. They highlighted serious allegations against the Ram Mandir Trust regarding the misuse and theft of donated funds, demanding an impartial investigation. SP leaders asserted that the BJP is exploiting people's faith in the name of religion and misusing the donation money.

During the demonstration, SP workers chanted anti-BJP slogans and demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter from the central government. District President Ramnath Yadav stated that the SP has always stood against corruption and will not tolerate malfeasance in a sacred endeavor like the Ram Mandir. He warned that if no concrete action is taken soon, the Samajwadi Party will intensify its agitation across the state. State Secretary Ashok Samrat emphasized that this is not just a matter of faith but of the sentiments of millions of people, urging the government to take it seriously. Several local SP leaders and workers participated in the protest.
