Mohania police in Kaimur district achieved a significant breakthrough by recovering a stolen motorcycle and arresting two individuals within just one hour of receiving the complaint. Mohania SDPO Gopal Krishna shared details of the incident during a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

He stated that on November 2, around 6 PM, Anil Kumar Singh reported to the Mohania SHO that his white TVS Apache motorcycle (number BR-45-N-2047) had been stolen. The police promptly registered a case under Mohania Police Station Case No. 879/26 and enlisted the help of a technical team to locate the bike.

Utilizing technical information and tracking, the police pursued the suspects and apprehended them near the newly constructed expressway between Dulhara and Jagaria in the Chainpur police station area, along with the stolen motorcycle. The arrested individuals have been identified as Saurabh Kumar alias Tiger and Prakash Kumar, both residents of Jagaria village in Chainpur police station area. According to the SDPO, Saurabh already has about four cases registered against him at Chainpur police station, related to theft and prohibition. Police suspect that both accused might be involved in other criminal incidents in the area and are currently interrogating them. After completing legal procedures, both will be sent to judicial custody.
