Purnia. Student leader Saurabh Kumar met with Professor Awadhesh Kumar Yadav, the principal of Forbesganj College, Forbesganj, on Friday. During this courtesy meeting, they engaged in a detailed discussion about various academic and administrative issues related to the college and Purnia University. Saurabh Kumar urged the principal to initiate the enrollment process for the BCA course as soon as possible to prevent delays for students.

Furthermore, he emphasized the immediate need to appoint teachers and staff in the B.Ed department. He highlighted that due to the shortage of teachers and employees, many crucial student tasks are not being completed on time, affecting their studies and administrative processes. Saurabh Kumar also pointed out that several college employees have been deputed by the Purnia University administration to other institutions, leading to a disruption in the college's regular academic and administrative system.

He also expressed concern that numerous teaching and non-teaching positions in the B.Ed departments of Forbesganj College and DS College, Katihar, both operating under Purnia University, have been vacant for a long time. The failure of the university to complete the appointment process for these positions poses a threat to the recognition granted to both institutions by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). He urged the administration to address this serious issue immediately and take necessary actions.
