Sultanganj, Bhagalpur. On the 16th day of the world-renowned Shravani Mela, Friday witnessed an extraordinary display of faith, enthusiasm, and joy in Sultanganj. As a special initiative by the Bihar Government's Tourism Department and the District Administration, a helicopter flew directly from Patna to Sultanganj.

The entire fairground was filled with excitement when flowers were showered from the sky on the Kanwariyas heading towards Ajgaibinath Mandir Ghat, Namami Gange Ghat, and Baba Baidyanath Dham. As soon as the flowers rained down, a wave of immense enthusiasm swept through the devotees, and the entire fair premises echoed with the resounding chants of 'Bol Bam' and 'Har Har Mahadev'.

After the first round of showering, the helicopter landed at the Krishnanand Stadium helipad to reload flowers. It then took off again, showering flowers for a second time over Ajgaibinath Mandir and Namami Gange Ghat. Sadar SDM Vikas Kumar stated that this is the first time such a helicopter flower shower is being organized at Ajgaibinath Dham. He added that there are plans to organize this event twice a week throughout the Shravan month, further boosting the morale of the Kanwariyas. This initiative has become a memorable experience for the devotees.
