A massive protest march was held today in Supaul against the brutal murder of Roshan Pandit. Outraged family members and local residents demanded the immediate arrest and stringent punishment of the perpetrators. During the demonstration, there was a minor scuffle between the protesters and the police.

According to reports, the atmosphere in the area has been tense since Roshan Pandit's murder. Family members allege that the police have been lackadaisical in their investigation, and the main culprits have yet to be apprehended. In response, a large number of people gathered near the Kali Mandir in Supaul market today and began their protest march. Participants chanted slogans like 'We want justice' and 'Hang the murderers'.

The protest march proceeded through the city's main thoroughfares before reaching the Collectorate. Here, demonstrators submitted a demand letter to the District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP). The letter called for the swift arrest of Roshan Pandit's killers, their punishment through a speedy trial, and adequate security and compensation for the victim's family.

Police administration attempted to pacify the protesters, but their anger was palpable. A minor clash occurred between the police and demonstrators in front of the Collectorate. However, the situation eventually normalized after the intervention and assurances from senior officials. The DM and SP assured the protesters that prompt action would be taken in the case and no culprit would be spared. They have instructed the police to arrest the accused as soon as possible.
