A surprise inspection by SDM Vinay Kumar on Tuesday morning in Pratapganj, Supaul, caused a stir among the concerned staff. He visited the Kasturba Gandhi Girls' Residential Hostel located in the Public High School premises and the Community Health Center (CHC).

During the hostel inspection, the SDM expressed satisfaction with the improvements in the arrangements but directed further enhancement of cleanliness. He noted that the quality of food had improved, but sanitation facilities for the students were still inadequate. Following this, he immediately called BDO Amresh Kumar Mishra and instructed the recruitment of a sweeper for the hostel. The SDM emphasized that given the upcoming board examinations, students should have a conducive environment and necessary facilities for their studies. The improving conditions at the hostel have also brought joy to the students.

Subsequently, the SDM arrived at Pratapganj CHC, where he gathered information from Medical Officer Dr. Anand Kumar Singh and other staff. He physically verified the cleanliness of the OPD, patient wards, and premises. Finding the sanitation system at the CHC satisfactory, he expressed contentment and advised the healthcare workers to maintain the arrangements and provide better health facilities to patients.
