In Supaul district, thieves have once again created a stir by targeting three houses in Lohia Nagar, under the Sadar police station area, on Wednesday night. Cash, jewelry, and important documents worth lakhs of rupees were stolen, leading to an atmosphere of fear and concern among residents regarding their safety.

According to information, the burglaries occurred at the homes of Subodh Kumar (Lohia Nagar Ward No. 23), Mohd. Mustafa (Ward No. 20), and Satish Kumar (Ward No. 22). Thieves gained entry by breaking windows and doors. From Subodh Kumar's house, Rs 50,000 in cash, gold jewelry, and several important documents were stolen. Mohd. Mustafa's house saw the theft of Rs 1.25 lakh in cash and gold and silver ornaments, while cash and jewelry were also stolen from Satish Kumar's residence.

Upon receiving the information, Sadar police station personnel promptly arrived at the scene. They inspected the crime spots and gathered details from the victims. Preliminary investigation suggests that the thieves executed the plan in a well-organized manner. Police have reviewed CCTV footage from the vicinity, which shows some suspicious individuals. Based on these visuals, raids are being conducted to identify and apprehend the culprits.

Local residents have expressed concerns over the increasing number of thefts in Lohia Nagar and have demanded that the police administration increase night patrols and dismantle the gang of thieves. The police have assured that the thieves will be caught soon and the stolen items will be recovered.
