One person was killed in a tragic road accident in Supaul district, near Nirmali Chowk in Nirmali Bazar, under Pipra police station limits. The incident occurred on Thursday night around 10 PM when a truck collided with a motorcycle from behind. Of the three people on the bike, one died on the spot, while the other two are reported to be safe.

The deceased has not yet been identified. The collision happened in front of the Central Bank CSP in Nirmali Bazar. The impact was so severe that the bike riders were thrown onto the road. Following the accident, local residents expressed their anger and blocked NH-327E on Friday morning, severely disrupting traffic.

Upon receiving information, Pipra Station House Officer Kishore Kumar arrived at the scene with police forces and is attempting to clear the blockade and pacify the protesters. There is significant resentment among the local population regarding the incident. Police stated that an investigation is underway, and further action will be taken once the deceased is identified. Efforts are ongoing to normalize the traffic situation caused by the road blockade.
