Suryagarha, Lakhisarai. Two non-FIR accused have been arrested by Suryagarha police in connection with the kidnapping of a teenage girl from the Suryagarha police station area. Both accused were apprehended from Bahadurpur village in Nalanda district. After completing the necessary legal procedures, they were produced before the Lakhisarai court from Suryagarha police station on Saturday, where they were sent to jail on judicial orders.

Suryagarha Station House Officer Rohit Kumar Singh stated that during the investigation of Suryagarha Police Station Case No. 196/26, a police team raided Bahadurpur village in Nalanda district. During the raid, Amresh Kumar, son of Satyendra Singh, and Ayush Kumar, son of Rakesh Kumar, were arrested. According to the police, both were non-FIR accused in this case.

Reportedly, a 13-year-old girl from a locality within the Suryagarha Nagar Parishad area had been missing since August 26, 2026. When the girl did not return home, her father lodged an FIR at Suryagarha police station. Following the registration of the case, the police initiated an investigation. During the inquiry, the police received information regarding the involvement of these two youths in the case, leading to their arrest. The police are now investigating other aspects of the case and are engaged in further action.
