Tarapur, Munger: A new twist has emerged in the suspicious death of Ajay Kumar, an employee of L&T Microfinance Company. His family has accused the company's branch manager, Khudiram Bakhla, of mental harassment and misconduct, raising suspicions of murder. Police are now considering mobile phone investigation a crucial aspect of the case.

Investigations reveal that Ajay sent a selfie to a young woman just before hanging himself. Police are now examining that picture, the exact time the message was sent, and other digital evidence found on both mobile phones. Ajay Kumar was due to be married in just two months, turning the family's joy into mourning.

Tarapur Station House Officer (SHO) Raj Kumar stated that the room's door was broken open in the presence of the police after the family arrived on the night of the incident, where Ajay's body was found hanging. A forensic team immediately collected scientific evidence from the scene. Two mobile phones were recovered and secured from the site and will be sent to the lab. The body has undergone a post-mortem examination.

The SHO added that an FIR would be registered, and further action would be taken once a written application is received from the family. The actual cause of death will only become clear after the mobile call detail records (CDRs) and post-mortem report are available. Police are conducting a thorough investigation based on the family's allegations and evidence from the mobile phones to unravel the mystery behind this death.
