A 15-year-old boy, Rajnish Kumar, tragically died in a road accident on Thursday afternoon in Dabriya village, under the Nautan police station area of West Champaran district. Rajnish was learning to ride a motorcycle when it went out of control and collided with the Dabriya bridge.

According to family members, Rajnish had left home without informing anyone and had ridden a short distance on an acquaintance's bike. He then asked the acquaintance to get off and started riding the bike himself. As he approached the Dabriya bridge, the bike became uncontrollable and crashed into the bridge. Rajnish sustained serious injuries and fell onto the road.

Local residents informed his family about the incident, who rushed Rajnish to the Nautan Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead. The family then took the body to Bettiah, where doctors also confirmed his demise. Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. The Nautan Station House Officer stated that no complaint or application has been received in the matter so far. The family of the deceased is devastated by the incident, and a pall of gloom has descended upon the village.
