A special campaign will be launched in Bihar to raise awareness among vehicle drivers and passengers traveling on national highways about HIV-AIDS prevention and the ill effects of drug abuse. Under this initiative, a total of 176 permanent hoardings will be installed at 44 toll plazas across the state. The Bihar State AIDS Control Society has invited proposals from agencies for this crucial task. The plan includes the Maniari, Dobiyahi, and Gayghat toll plazas in Muzaffarpur district, where these awareness hoardings will be erected. The objective of these hoardings is to educate people about the dangers of addiction and methods of preventing HIV-AIDS, thereby fostering a healthier and more aware society.
