In a proactive move, officials visited various panchayats in Ujiarpur block, Samastipur district, on Wednesday to review the implementation of government welfare schemes and distribute certificates to eligible beneficiaries. The primary goal of this initiative was to ensure that the benefits of government programs reach the intended recipients without any hindrance. Officials engaged directly with villagers, addressing their concerns and resolving many issues on the spot.

During these visits, the status of beneficiaries under key schemes like old-age pension, widow pension, disability pension, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, MGNREGA, and Food Security Scheme was assessed. Individuals who had not yet received benefits were guided through the application process and assisted in submitting necessary documents. Many new beneficiaries received their eligibility certificates immediately, bringing smiles to their faces.

Officials stated that this campaign is part of the government's 'Sarkar Aapke Dwar' (Government at Your Doorstep) initiative, aiming to bring administration closer to the public and fulfill their needs. They urged villagers to come forward and avail the benefits of these schemes, encouraging them to contact officials directly for any issues. Local public representatives and panchayat workers also participated actively, ensuring the smooth execution of the campaign.
