An unidentified body was discovered in Bhogipur, under the Gopalpur police station area in Patna district. The incident, which occurred on July 25, prompted immediate response from Gopalpur police, who arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.

The body, found near Bhogipur (Chakpul), is estimated to be that of a 55-year-old male. The deceased was wearing a blue checkered lungi, a white vest, and a gamcha (towel) around his neck. Police were alerted by local villagers. As of now, the identity of the deceased remains unknown. After completing all necessary legal formalities, the police have sent the body to Patna for post-mortem examination.

Gopalpur Station House Officer Amit Kumar Singh stated that efforts to identify the body are ongoing. He confirmed that all legal procedures were followed before sending the body for autopsy. ASI Dayakant added that all legal processes are being completed until the body is identified, and further action will be taken only after the post-mortem and forensic examination. The police team is gathering all possible information related to the case and will share full details once the identity is established.
