A crucial meeting of the Patient Welfare Committee was held at Veerpur Primary Health Centre (PHC) on Wednesday. The primary objective of this meeting was to conduct a thorough review of the health services being provided at the PHC and to take necessary steps to improve facilities for patients. The meeting was presided over by the committee's chairman cum BDO, Ravindra Kumar.

During the review, PHC in-charge Medical Officer Dr. Virendra Kumar elaborated on the current status and challenges faced by the center. He explained how efforts are being made to provide better health facilities to patients despite limited resources. Committee members also noted the gap between the increasing number of patients and the facilities available to them.

Attendees discussed various points, including the availability of medicines, sanitation, attendance of doctors and health workers, and the effectiveness of emergency services. It was felt that reducing patient waiting times and providing a clean environment are crucial. In this direction, the committee suggested some immediate and long-term improvements.

BDO Ravindra Kumar instructed all concerned officials to seriously consider the suggestions made by the committee and implement them as soon as possible. He specifically emphasized that patients should not face any inconvenience and should receive quality healthcare services. The committee also agreed that such review meetings should be held at regular intervals to monitor progress and make further improvements as needed. This initiative is a significant step towards enhancing the quality of health services at Veerpur PHC and making them more accessible to the general public.
