विदनचक में लो-वोल्टेज से परेशान ग्रामीणों का फूटा गुस्सा, बिजली कार्यालय का घेराव

भागलपुर जिले के विदनचक (Bidanchak) क्षेत्र में लगातार लो-वोल्टेज की समस्या से जूझ रहे उपभोक्ताओं का गुस्सा अब फूट पड़ा है। मंगलवार को आक्रोशित ग्रामीणों ने विक्रमशिला पुल के समीप स्थित बिजली विभाग के कार्यालय का घेराव कर जमकर हंगामा और प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शनकारी हाथों में तख्तियां लिए हुए थे और बिजली विभाग के खिलाफ नारेबाजी कर रहे थे। उनका आरोप था कि पिछले कई दिनों से क्षेत्र में बिजली की आपूर्ति इतनी कम वोल्टेज पर हो रही है कि पंखे, कूलर और अन्य बिजली के उपकरण ठीक से काम नहीं कर पा रहे हैं।
ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि लो-वोल्टेज के कारण उन्हें भीषण गर्मी में रहने को मजबूर होना पड़ रहा है। बच्चों की पढ़ाई बाधित हो रही है और घरों में पानी की मोटर भी नहीं चल पा रही है। उन्होंने कई बार बिजली विभाग के अधिकारियों से शिकायत की, लेकिन उनकी समस्याओं पर कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया गया। इसी उपेक्षा से तंग आकर उन्होंने यह प्रदर्शन करने का निर्णय लिया।
प्रदर्शन के दौरान, उपभोक्ताओं ने चेतावनी दी कि यदि जल्द ही उनकी समस्या का समाधान नहीं किया गया और क्षेत्र में सामान्य वोल्टेज पर बिजली आपूर्ति बहाल नहीं की गई, तो वे बड़े पैमाने पर आंदोलन करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि बिजली विभाग की लापरवाही से पूरा क्षेत्र प्रभावित हो रहा है और लोग त्राहिमाम कर रहे हैं। ग्रामीणों ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि विभाग सिर्फ बिल वसूलने में लगा है, लेकिन उपभोक्ताओं को मूलभूत सुविधाएँ प्रदान करने में विफल रहा है। उन्होंने मांग की कि विभाग तुरंत इस समस्या पर ध्यान दे और विदनचक क्षेत्र में निर्बाध और उचित वोल्टेज पर बिजली आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करे।
Residents of Vidanchak in Bhagalpur district, fed up with persistent low voltage issues, staged a strong protest on Tuesday. Agitated villagers surrounded the electricity department office near Vikramshila Bridge, shouting slogans and displaying placards against the department. They alleged that for several days, the electricity supply in the area has been at such a low voltage that fans, coolers, and other electrical appliances are unable to function properly.
The residents highlighted that the low voltage forces them to endure intense heat, disrupts children's studies, and prevents water pumps from operating. They claimed to have lodged numerous complaints with electricity department officials, but no action was taken. Frustrated by this negligence, they decided to resort to a public demonstration.
During the protest, consumers warned that if their problem is not resolved soon and normal voltage electricity supply is not restored in the area, they would launch a larger agitation. They accused the electricity department of neglecting its duties, stating that the entire region is suffering due to its apathy. The villagers demanded immediate attention to the issue and assured an uninterrupted and proper voltage power supply in the Vidanchak area.
