In a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening law and order and expediting the disposal of pending cases at Sikrahata Police Station in Ara district, Bhojpur Superintendent of Police Awadhesh Dixit has appointed Vikas Kumar as the new Station House Officer (SHO). Kumar has taken charge of his new post.
Prior to this appointment, Vikas Kumar was serving in the Prohibition Department. This change comes after the previous SHO of Sikrahata Police Station was suspended by the SP due to allegations of negligence and indiscipline in duty. Following this strict action, there had been discussions about handing over the command of the police station to a dynamic and diligent officer. Kumar's appointment is expected to improve law and order in the area.
