A distressing incident unfolded at Platform No. 3 of Kiul Railway Station in Lakhisarai district, where a woman abandoned three young children and fled. Upon receiving the information, Kiul GRP promptly took the children into their custody. Police reported that one of the recovered children was wearing the school uniform of Vyas DAV Public School, Sawra, offering a potential lead to identify the children and locate their family. However, no concrete information regarding the children's identities or the woman has been found yet.

The GRP immediately informed the Child Protection Unit (CPU). A CPU team arrived at the station and took the children into their care. As per procedure, all three children were taken to the Sadar Hospital for medical examinations, after which they were moved to a safe location. The GRP and CPU are jointly working to trace the children's relatives and identify the woman who left them at the station. CCTV footage from the station premises is also being reviewed. Officials have appealed to the public that if anyone has any information about these children or the woman involved, they should immediately inform the GRP or the Child Protection Unit to help reunite the children safely with their families.
