A case of assault and snatching of gold earrings from a woman has been reported in Shivnandanpur village, under the Sultanganj police station area in Bhagalpur district. The victim, Lalita Devi, has accused two individuals from her village of assaulting her and snatching her gold earrings when she was alone after her husband had gone out.

Lalita Devi has filed a complaint at Sultanganj police station. She informed the police that at the time of the incident, her husband had gone out for defecation. During this period, the two accused from the village arrived at her home and began assaulting her over some issue. The victim alleges that during the assault, her gold earrings were also snatched.

Upon hearing the woman's cries for help, nearby villagers started gathering at the spot. Seeing the villagers approaching, both accused fled the scene. Following the incident, the victim went to Sultanganj police station and submitted a written complaint, demanding strict action against the two accused. She has appealed to the police for a fair investigation and justice in the matter. The police have registered the complaint and initiated an investigation. The truth of the allegations will come to light only after the investigation is completed, and further legal action will be taken accordingly.
