A tragic incident has occurred in Digha Tola, under the Jagdishpur police station area of Bhagalpur district, where a woman died of electrocution while cutting grass. The incident caused a stir in the entire area, drawing a large crowd of local residents. Upon receiving information, Jagdishpur police arrived at the scene and have initiated an investigation into the matter.

The deceased woman has not yet been identified, but it is reported that she was a resident of Digha Tola and had gone to the field to cut grass as part of her daily routine. According to eyewitnesses, while she was cutting grass, she suddenly came into contact with a live electric wire. The electric shock was so severe that she died on the spot. Police have taken custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital in Bhagalpur.
