A wave of shock has gripped Bochi village in Araria district following the discovery of a youth's body. The deceased bears severe head injuries, raising strong suspicions of murder. Upon receiving the information, local police promptly arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and dispatched it for post-mortem examination.

According to police sources, the identity of the deceased is yet to be established. Villagers discovered the body while heading towards their fields in the morning and immediately alerted the police. Upon inspection, police found deep wounds on the youth's head, appearing to be inflicted by a sharp weapon. Other parts of the body also showed some scratch marks.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) stated that prima facie, it appears to be a case of murder. He added that the exact cause of death would only be ascertained after the post-mortem report is received. The body has been sent to Sadar Hospital, Araria, where a team of doctors will conduct the autopsy. Police have registered a murder case against unknown individuals and have commenced an investigation.

An atmosphere of fear and anger prevails among the local residents, who have urged the police to swiftly apprehend the culprits. Police have initiated inquiries in the surrounding areas and are also working to confirm the identity of the deceased. Authorities have appealed to the public to contact them if they possess any information related to the deceased or the incident.
