An arrested accused, Ritesh Kumar (19), managed to escape from the Hussaianabad police station premises, still wearing handcuffs and carrying the rope used for his detention. This incident has caused a stir within the police department. The escape occurred on Thursday morning around 8:10 AM. Following his escape, the police are conducting raids at potential hideouts and a search operation is underway.

According to the police, Ritesh Kumar had complained of stomach pain in the morning. He was being taken out of the lock-up when he pushed the चौकीदार (watchman) on duty and fled the police station premises with the handcuffs and rope. Chaos erupted at the station as police personnel attempted to apprehend him, but the accused successfully escaped.

The police have intensified their search operations following the incident. Ritesh Kumar was reportedly accused of obstructing government work. As of the time of reporting, his arrest had not been confirmed.
