Hilsa, Nalanda. On Thursday evening, the All India Students Association (AISA) and Revolutionary Youth Association (RYA) organized a protest march in Hilsa against the commercialization of education, expensive education, and rising unemployment. During the march, an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also burned.

The protest was led jointly by AISA's Ravi Ranjan, Roshan Kumar, Chandrashekhar Kumar, and Kundan Kumar. The march commenced from the Hilsa party office, proceeding through Kali Sthan, Varun Tal, and Cinema Mor, before culminating at Yogipur Mor, where the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was set ablaze. Dozens of students and youths participated in the demonstration.

Addressing the gathering, speakers from RYA and AISA alleged that the Modi government's tenure has seen the complete commercialization of education and healthcare in the country. They stated that the government's anti-youth and anti-student policies are pushing young people towards widespread unemployment. Speakers attributed this situation to corporate-friendly policies, which have led to a significant increase in unemployment not only in Bihar but across the entire nation.

The protestors further claimed that the government is deliberately commercializing education as part of a conspiracy to keep the poor sections of society away from education and employment. They emphasized that the government is transforming the education and health sectors into industries rather than welfare services. AISA warned that they would not tolerate these increasing attacks on education and health at any cost. Speakers asserted that a major movement on education and employment issues is underway from Bihar to the entire country, and the government is attempting to suppress it through police force and fabricated cases. Challenging the government, students and youths declared that they would continue to fight democratically on the issues of education, health, and unemployment, citing the recent resignation of the country's education minister as a result of their struggle.
