Despite the prohibition in Bihar, the illegal trade of alcohol continues unabated. In a recent significant operation, the police seized a large quantity of foreign liquor from a motorcycle. A minor individual has also been apprehended in connection with this incident.

According to police sources, a special team was formed based on confidential information. The team intercepted a suspicious motorcycle and conducted a search. During the search, several bottles of foreign liquor were recovered, hidden in the bike's storage compartment and under the seat. The total quantity and estimated value of the seized alcohol are being assessed, but it is initially considered a substantial consignment.

A minor, who was driving the motorcycle, has been detained by the police. He is currently being interrogated to identify other individuals involved in this illegal liquor trade. Efforts are underway to ascertain the origin of the alcohol and its intended destination.

This incident highlights the ongoing challenges in enforcing liquor prohibition in Bihar. While police and administration are consistently taking action, smugglers continue to find new ways to supply alcohol.
