Four people died on the spot in a horrific road accident in Bihar's Arwal district. The incident occurred due to a head-on collision between a dump truck and an auto-rickshaw. According to initial reports, the impact was so severe that the auto-rickshaw was completely destroyed, leading to the instantaneous death of all four occupants.

Police sources indicate that the accident took place in the Kurtha police station area of Arwal district. The dump truck and auto-rickshaw were reportedly traveling in opposite directions at high speed, leading to a loss of control and a direct collision. The severity of the crash made it extremely difficult to extract the passengers from the mangled auto-rickshaw.

Upon receiving information about the incident, local police immediately rushed to the scene and initiated rescue operations. All four bodies have been sent to Arwal Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. The identities of the deceased are yet to be fully established, but police are actively working on it. The dump truck driver fled the scene after the accident. Police have seized the truck and are conducting raids to apprehend the absconding driver.

This tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over the entire area. Local residents have expressed concerns about the lack of road safety measures and inadequate control over speeding vehicles. They have urged the administration to take concrete steps to prevent such occurrences.
