Islampur police in Nalanda district have arrested an accused in an attempted murder case from Makdumpur village. The arrested individual has been identified as Sinnu Kumar, son of Ramesh Rai, a resident of Makdumpur village. The police action was taken under Police Station Case No. 426/26, with Section 109 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita applied.

According to the police, the case pertains to an attempt to murder. The police had been searching for Sinnu Kumar since the First Information Report (FIR) was lodged. During the investigation, police received crucial information regarding the accused, leading to a raid and subsequent arrest. Investigating officer Ranjan Chaudhary stated that the accused has been taken into custody following due legal process.

Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter and gathering other facts related to the incident. Authorities stated that further action would be taken based on the facts that emerge during the investigation. The officer also mentioned that the police are continuously conducting campaigns to maintain law and order and curb criminal activities.
