The Health Department in Aurangabad district's Goh block has sealed an illegally operating clinic. This action was taken following explicit directives from the Principal Secretary, as part of a statewide campaign against unauthorized health facilities. Health department officials stated that the clinic, located in Goh Bazaar, lacked any valid license or registration for its operation.

For a long time, this clinic had been running without proper authorization, raising serious concerns about patient safety and health. Local residents had also lodged several complaints, prompting the department to initiate an investigation. During the inquiry, it was found that the clinic neither employed qualified doctors nor possessed the necessary equipment and facilities, directly violating health standards.

Acting on the Principal Secretary's instructions, a special team conducted a surprise raid on Wednesday and sealed the clinic. The team included officials from the Civil Surgeon's office and local police. Documents and other materials found at the clinic were also inspected during the operation. Officials have warned that stringent action will be taken against all such illegally operating clinics and hospitals across the district.

This action has caused a stir among illegal healthcare providers. The Health Department has also appealed to the public not to seek treatment at any clinic or hospital without a valid license. The department further stated that the identities of those providing information about illegal health facilities would be kept confidential. This campaign aims to ensure quality and safe healthcare services for patients.
