The Barari Anchal (Circle Office) in Katihar district has achieved a commendable performance at the state level in the execution of revenue-related tasks. According to the August 2026 performance evaluation report, Barari Anchal secured the sixth position across Bihar. This significant ranking has brought enthusiasm among the officers and staff of the Anchal office.

Circle Officer (CO) Manish Kumar expressed his delight, stating that this achievement is a result of the continuous efforts and collective work of the entire team at the Anchal office. He affirmed that efforts to maintain speed in the disposal of revenue cases and to clear pending matters in a time-bound manner will continue. Securing the sixth position in the state's evaluation report is considered a significant accomplishment for the Barari Anchal.

Kumar further elaborated that special attention is being given to the timely disposal of pending revenue-related cases. Matters concerning mutation (Dakhil-Kharij), land records (Jamabandi), and other revenue documents are being addressed on a priority basis. He emphasized that efforts are also being made to provide revenue services to the general public within the stipulated time frame and to maintain transparency in the process, ensuring no inconvenience to the citizens.
