Begusarai. The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Begusarai branch, organized a grand ceremony on the occasion of Doctors' Day. During the event, 100 young doctors who recently entered the medical field were honored. Dr. Sahajanand Prasad Singh, former national president of IMA, who was the chief guest, urged doctors to remain dedicated to social service. He emphasized that medicine is a noble profession, and the greatest duty of doctors is to serve society.

Dr. Sahajanand Prasad Singh stated in his address that the selfless service rendered by doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic, without regard for their own lives, is unforgettable. He advised the new doctors to maintain honesty and dedication in their profession. Dr. Ranjan Chaudhary, president of IMA Begusarai, also congratulated the doctors, saying that this honor would make them even more responsible towards their duties. He added that IMA is always committed to protecting the interests of doctors and strives to strengthen their role in society.

The ceremony was attended by IMA Secretary Dr. Harendra Kumar, Treasurer Dr. Krishna Kumar, Dr. Shashi Bhushan Sharma, Dr. Naushad Alam, Dr. Shambhu Kumar, along with many senior doctors and prominent citizens of the city. All speakers highlighted the dignity of the medical profession and the responsibilities of doctors towards society. The new doctors also pledged to serve society and adhere to medical ethics on this occasion.
