A violent clash erupted between two groups in Belwar, Gaya district, stemming from an old enmity, leaving three individuals seriously injured. The incident has caused tension in the area. According to reports, the dispute began on Thursday in Belwar village between two families over a long-standing issue, escalating quickly into a physical altercation. Members from both sides reportedly attacked each other with sticks, rods, and stones.

Three people were injured in the skirmish, with two of them identified as real brothers. The injured were immediately taken to a nearby health center for preliminary treatment. However, due to the severity of their injuries, doctors referred them to Gayaji Hospital for advanced medical care. They are currently undergoing treatment at Gayaji Hospital, and their condition is reported to be stable.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police promptly arrived at Belwar village and brought the situation under control. Authorities stated that the conflict is a result of a prolonged old rivalry between the two groups, who have had minor altercations in the past. The police have detained several individuals from both sides for questioning. An FIR has been registered, and further legal action is underway. Additional police forces have been deployed in the village to prevent any further untoward incidents. Local residents have urged the police to maintain peace and take strict action against those responsible.
