In Bhabhua district, high-risk pregnant women are being tracked at all health centers, including the Sadar Hospital. This initiative is being carried out during antenatal check-ups with the aim of improving maternal and child health. The Civil Surgeon stated that the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) helps in timely identification of women with complicated pregnancies, which is crucial for their and their baby's health.

The PMSMA program is organized three times every month in all health institutions of the district, including the Sadar Hospital. Through this program, regular check-ups of pregnant women are conducted, and those with a likelihood of complicated delivery are specially identified and provided with appropriate medical assistance. This tracking system helps ensure that such women receive necessary care during pregnancy and at the time of delivery, thereby contributing to the reduction of maternal and infant mortality rates.
