Rajgir, Correspondent: Bihar's martial arts players are set to showcase their talent at the 6th Hand-to-Hand Fighting Sport National Championship 2026, scheduled to be held in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from September 18 to 20. A 21-member team from Bihar, comprising 15 martial arts players, departed from Rajgir Railway Station for Jodhpur on Wednesday to participate in the competition. Referee Ashwini Pandey also accompanied the team.

These players were selected based on their excellent performance in the 3rd Bihar State Championship organized by the Bihar State Hand-to-Hand Fighting Association. During their departure, Referee Ashwini Pandey extended his best wishes and encouraged them to perform well at the national level. He stated that this competition is a crucial opportunity for Bihar's players to prove their talent and hard work to the nation. The players have been preparing for this competition for a long time, and it is hoped that they will bring glory to the state in Jodhpur.

The players heading for the national competition include Manjeet, Purav Kumar, Anmol Ratan, Srishti Kumari, Paramshish Raj, Harsh Raj, Anika, Shivam Kumar, Aryan Kumar, Pratyush Bharti, Honey Singh, Rajni Kumari, Alok Kumar, Shivraj Kumar, Kumari Tripti, Ayush Raj, Virendra Kumar, Riya Kumari, Manash Kumar, and Mithun Kumar. These players also have their sights set on securing a spot in the upcoming international competition in Turkey. Their parents and friends were present at Rajgir Railway Station to bid them farewell and offer their good wishes.
