The Bihar government has launched a significant initiative in the education sector. A massive public awareness campaign has begun across the state to identify girls who have dropped out of school and reintegrate them into the mainstream education system. The primary goal of this campaign is to reach every girl who has discontinued her studies for any reason, facilitating their re-enrollment in school.

This campaign is being spearheaded by the Education Department and will involve various government bodies, local communities, and Panchayati Raj institutions. Teachers, Anganwadi workers, Jeevika didis, and local public representatives will be trained to conduct door-to-door surveys to identify dropout girls. Officials stated that the campaign will not only identify these girls but also provide necessary support and encouragement for their return to school.
