सारण जिले के दरियापुर पंचायत अंतर्गत बोरगांव स्थित शिव मंदिर में बीती रात अज्ञात चोरों ने लाखों रुपये के आभूषण और नकदी चोरी कर ली। इस घटना से पूरे इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई है। मंदिर के पुजारी ने सुबह जब मंदिर का पट खोला, तो देखा कि गर्भगृह का ताला टूटा हुआ था और अंदर रखी भगवान की मूर्तियों से आभूषण गायब थे। इसके साथ ही दान पेटी भी गायब मिली।
चोरों ने अत्यंत शातिर तरीके से इस वारदात को अंजाम दिया। बताया जा रहा है कि मंदिर से चांदी के छत्र, मुकुट, हार और अन्य मूल्यवान आभूषणों के साथ-साथ दान पेटी में रखी हजारों रुपये की नकदी भी चोरी कर ली गई है। चोरी गए सामान की कुल कीमत लाखों रुपये आंकी जा रही है। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मामले की छानबीन शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस ने घटनास्थल का मुआयना किया और आसपास के लोगों से पूछताछ की। फिंगरप्रिंट विशेषज्ञों की टीम को भी बुलाया गया है ताकि कोई सुराग मिल सके।
स्थानीय लोगों में इस घटना को लेकर काफी आक्रोश है। उनका कहना है कि यह पहली बार नहीं है जब इस इलाके में चोरी की वारदात हुई है। उन्होंने पुलिस प्रशासन से जल्द से जल्द चोरों को पकड़ने और चोरी हुए सामान को बरामद करने की मांग की है। ग्रामीणों ने मंदिर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मजबूत करने की भी अपील की है, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं को रोका जा सके। पुलिस ने आश्वासन दिया है कि वे जल्द ही अपराधियों तक पहुंचेंगे और उन्हें कानून के कटघरे में खड़ा करेंगे।
