A buffalo theft incident occurred in Rajpur Ekauna village, under the jurisdiction of Haldi Police Station in Buxar district, during the late hours of last night. Thieves made away with a villager's buffalo, causing a stir in the village. Upon receiving information, villagers immediately acted and apprehended one suspicious individual. However, other thieves managed to escape under the cover of darkness.

According to details received regarding the incident, a buffalo belonging to a farmer from Rajpur Ekauna was untied from its tether and stolen. When the farmer discovered his buffalo missing, he raised an alarm. Hearing the commotion, other villagers also woke up and joined in the search for the thieves. Demonstrating promptness, the villagers caught a suspicious person believed to be involved in the theft.

The villagers interrogated the apprehended suspect, but he failed to provide satisfactory answers. Following this, the villagers decided to hand him over to the police. Upon receiving information, Haldi Police Station personnel arrived at the scene and took the suspect into custody. The police are now conducting a thorough interrogation of the apprehended individual to uncover the theft gang and recover the stolen buffalo.
