Three schoolgirls were injured in a serious road accident in Buxar district after being hit by a vehicle belonging to the Excise Department. The incident occurred on Monday when the Excise Department vehicle, reportedly speeding, collided with the students. The impact was severe enough to break off the vehicle's side mirror.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the vehicle immediately fled the scene after the accident, abandoning the vehicle. Local residents quickly came to the aid of the injured girls, transporting them to a hospital where they are currently receiving treatment. While the identities of the three students have not yet been released, their condition is reported to be stable.
