In a significant action, Chainpur police in Kaimur district arrested three individuals on Wednesday from various villages in connection with theft cases. The accused were sent to judicial custody after undergoing medical examinations. Chainpur Police Station Head Vijay Prasad stated that stolen goods were also recovered from the arrested individuals. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in this regard.

The arrested accused have been identified as Pintoo Singh (son of Vijay Singh) and Jugen Shah (son of Tahir), both residents of Lodipur village. The third accused, Rakesh Kumar Gupta (son of Bansi Sah), was apprehended from Hata. According to Station Head Vijay Prasad, the police received confidential information about individuals committing thefts in the Lodipur and Hata areas of Chainpur. Acting on this tip-off, a police team was formed, which conducted raids, arrested the suspects, and recovered the stolen items. Police have informed that raids are ongoing to apprehend other accused involved in the case.
